Brad Wollen

Upon his return from Vietnam, Brad received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management from Parsons College. After graduation, he became the Chief Flight Instructor for the FAA certified flight school at Parsons College.

Brad began his aircraft sales career in 1973 with Cessna Aircraft Company based in Wichita, Kansas. He was soon transferred to Denver, Colorado where he was assigned to a District Manager position covering the Rocky Mountain region. His job responsibility entailed selling new Cessna single and twin-engine aircraft to dealers, as well as assisting dealers with the sale of their aircraft inventories to the retail customers.

Just three years later, Brad was offered a Retail Aircraft Sales position with Monarch Aviation (now West Star Aviation) in Grand Junction, Colorado. For nine years Brad sold Cessna Piston Singles, Twins, Turbo Props and Citations and was then promoted to Vice President of Monarch Aviation.

In 1984, Brad was offered a position as Vice President of Aircraft Sales with Morrison Knudson’s Aviation Division, Western Aircraft, based in Boise, Idaho. For twelve years, Brad was buying and selling Turbo Prop and Jet aircraft worldwide. His sales contacts took him to Europe, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean and South America. He specialized in Falcon Jets, Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft.

Brad was then brought to Seattle, Washington in 1996 when he was offered the position of Vice President of Aircraft Sales at Flight Center at Boeing Field.

In 2003, Joe Clark and Clay Lacy purchased Flight Center and renamed it Clay Lacy Aviation. For ten years Brad was General Manager of the Seattle facility and Vice President of Aircraft Sales, responsible for selling aircraft for the Van Nuys and Seattle facilities. Clay Lacy Seattle was the leading authorized Quest Kodiak dealer with 16 new and 6 used Kodiaks sold through 2019.

In December of 2018, Modern Aviation acquired Clay Lacy Aviation Seattle. Brad has continued to lead Modern Aviation Aircraft Sales. With over 43 years of experience in aircraft sales, Brad specializes in the sale of used Quest Kodiaks, Gulfstream Jets, Falcon Jets, Challengers and Citations worldwide.
